Enhance Your Language Learning with Language Reactor Chrome Extension

Are you looking for a powerful tool to make your language learning journey more effective and enjoyable? Look no further than Language Reactor, a Chrome extension designed specifically for language learners. With a total rating of 4.33 based on user reviews, this extension is a game-changer when it comes to improving your language skills.

One of the standout features of Language Reactor is its compatibility with popular streaming platforms like Netflix. Formerly known as 'Language Learning with Netflix', this extension takes your language learning experience to the next level while watching your favorite films and series. It adds dual language subtitles, allowing you to follow along in both your target language and your native language. This feature is incredibly helpful in understanding the differences between what is being said and what is written in the subtitles.

In addition to dual language subtitles, Language Reactor also offers a popup dictionary. This means that you can instantly look up the meaning of any word or phrase by simply hovering over it. The convenience of having a dictionary at your fingertips while watching Netflix cannot be overstated. It eliminates the need to pause the video and search for definitions, allowing for a seamless and uninterrupted learning experience.

Another notable feature of Language Reactor is its precise video playback controls. With this extension, you have full control over the speed of the video playback. You can slow down the video to better understand the dialogue or speed it up to challenge your listening skills. This flexibility in video playback is invaluable for language learners.

But Language Reactor doesn't stop at Netflix. It also supports YouTube, giving you access to thousands of channels and videos on any topic you can imagine. By watching authentic language content on YouTube, you can immerse yourself in real-life conversations and improve your comprehension skills.

Furthermore, Language Reactor extends its benefits beyond streaming platforms. You can import text from books and websites, and the extension will provide a machine translation in your native language. This feature is incredibly useful for reading materials in your target language and understanding the content without getting lost in translation. Additionally, Language Reactor offers a super-realistic text-to-speech feature, allowing you to listen to the text being read aloud with natural-sounding voices.

Whether you are learning a new language or improving your existing language skills, Language Reactor is the perfect companion for your language learning journey. Compatible with Google Chrome on desktop and laptop computers running Windows and MacOS, this extension is easily accessible and user-friendly.

Try Language Reactor today and experience the difference it can make in your language learning progress. Don't just take our word for it - the glowing reviews from users like Samuel Haber, Phúc Nguyễn, and Cin S speak for themselves. Start your language learning adventure with Language Reactor and unlock your full language learning potential.

It a wonderful way to learn English。

It seems to be completely broken. Its search shows ZERO netflix shows with Traditional Chinese, which is absurd since Netflix is huge in Taiwan. Link to Language Reactor's catalogue view: https://www.languagereactor.com/m/nf_zh-TW_- Not only that but when using this plugin, every time I'm on Netflix, it adds a conspicuous "Language Reactor Catalogue" link in the top menu to their catalogue view of zero results.

Tried for the first time. Great Interface and promising potential, but completely useless (Two major issues): I manually downloaded SRT translation from one of my Dutch movies before installing Language Reactor. Then tried using LR, and it gave me all wrong "Original Netflix" subtitles. Every single sentence has a major mistake, replacing an original word with a similar one and translating it (machine translation). Seems like even for the Original text, they actually use Ai to 'listen' to it instead of simply using the actual Netflix captions. Also, I am learning a Germanic Language (German/Dutch) and it is not helping with Separable Verbs (A verb with two parts). I think I will move to LLNY.. they are simpler but at least they don't 'invent' subtitles.

Nice extension and really usefull BUT went you realize they gave themseves acces to all amazon adresse they're probably making money just like honey and adding they're affiliate link before purchase. It's tottaly fine if they would CLEARLY disclose it, but I never saw it mentioned.

Is there a way to show pinyin for Chinese?

Amazing. Please add a keyboard shortcut so I can turn on/off Native Language subtitles (e.g. so I can watch in Target language with Target Language subtitles, and when I don't understand a sentence, I press a key and translation/transliteration both show up). Would make it much more useful and would probably be very easy to do.

Everything worked well until I paid for Pro now translations dont even show up for the pro feature. All I receive is "subtitles are loading" waste of 6 bucks. The base version is better than the pro version.

It’s an excellent tool if you want to learn or practice your English. I have to say, you need discipline for everything, but it’s a really good tool where you can improve your language skills.

I have a trouble with loading the subtitle on Netflix, not responding

No way to login without using a Google account.

Cherry Garcia

If you're learning Japanese can do pretty much all of this for free using asb player, yomitan, and anki and that set up is infinitely customizable with ANY content you want, using any dictionary you want, and setting up flashcards exactly how you want them. Add in deepL for way more natural translations, and chat gpt for bs stilted AI tools I wouldn't use anyway and it's not really worth the price tag.

Noche Hughes

There is no option to view only the translation, nor can an external service like OpenAI or DeepL be chosen. I can't change the colors or the size of the words. To make things "better", the interface is in German.
